We're now looking for a new Global Transport Manager. 

YOUR CHALLENGE

Your work is to control and streamline processes to reduce costs, but also develop processes to increase the DW's sales and customer experience. You will handle supplier contracts, monitoring, and control of supplier service and SLA:s. Above that, you will oversee transport complaints and constantly work to improve existing processes and routines. This is a vital role in the customer journey for all channels including the inbound supply chain.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Be responsible for and negotiate transportation contracts
  • Monitor and secure transport processes for all channels and returns to optimize the customer experience
  • Setup of new transport methods for all channels (Online, retail, wholesale and inbound)
  • Capacity planning and forecasting for all channels
  • Collect data and follow up on the DW's transport costs and budget
  • Responsible for KPI follow-up in your areas and deliver results accordingly
  • Update and follow-up on standard operating procedures concerning transportation
  • Drive improvements, efficiencies, and daily management with external transport partners
  • Monitor and setup of transport booking processes and systems
  • Customs processes

WHO YOU ARE

  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience within transport management
  • BSc/MSc in a relevant area, or corresponding professional experience
  • Understanding of International Trade, Compliance and Customs regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of export and import processes
  • Customer-focused
  • Structured and organized
  • Good communication skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
