We're now looking for a Business Controller to join our office in Hong Kong!



Daniel Wellington has a strong presence in APAC and is now looking for a Business Controller who works in the front line to drive the company's future development, from a business controlling, revenue, profitability and business development perspective. You partner with the APAC business with traditional controller tasks such as analysis, reporting, forecasting and planning as well as preparing presentations for management. Part of your role will also involve participating in and managing business development projects that drive the company forward such as making business cases and business plans. You are based in Hong Kong and report to Head of Finance and Business Controlling APAC.

Your main task will be:

  • Analyze the business sales, expenditures, investments etc.
  • Report development of all figures to management team and relevant stakeholders
  • Make forecasts of campaigns, products and market development
  • Spot and highlight regional trends in our online and offline channels and take actions based on the results
  • Main support to markets and business channels (online, marketing) with analysis
  • Coordinate and measure marketing campaigns and other initiatives.
  • Design, build & develop appropriate reports and dashboards
  • Support Head of Finance and Business Controlling with ad hoc analysis/projects and annual planning covering strategy, business plans and budget 



Our ideal candidate has a true gift of turning analysis into action. You’ll be given plenty of responsibility from day one, and we are looking for someone who is proactive and possesses a developed analytical skill with high integrity. You find it easy to see the whole picture and can make the complex simple. You are fluent in English, have good communication skills and are great at stakeholder management.

  • We believe that you have a MSc or BSc in Economics or other relevant fields.
  • We welcome graduates as well more experienced candidates to apply. Previous experience in business or sales controlling in e-commerce and/or retail is a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (powerpoint and excel)
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • You have the ability to handle multiple tasks, find and deliver information in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business
  • Proactive nature, and driven to provide valuable support to the business and business stakeholders Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as we are an international team and work closely with our HQ in Stockholm



You have a genuine interest in structuring information to understand the business. You are a highly motivated, driven and detail-oriented person, willing to make a difference. You have a can-do attitude, strong analytical skills and are passionate using data to drive decisions.
