One of our employees is moving into a new role as a parent (!) and we are now looking for someone to help us during a period of approximately 7 months, starting at the beginning of February. This temporary position will give you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment together with a team of highly skilled and dedicated people.


As a Market Insight Analyst, you will perform research, data synthesis, and competitive and market analysis to support the identification and pursuit of current and new business opportunities as well as long-term strategic planning. You will play an important role by supporting a variety of growth initiatives by applying a thoughtful and strategic approach to finding and analyzing data. You will be responsible for the whole analysis, from beginning to end.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Extract and aggregate data to provide insights on products, market sizes, trends, prices etc.
  • Combine external data with internal information to identify business opportunities.
  • Perform competitor analysis and monitor competitor activity.
  • Document analysis and insights in a pedagogical and easily accessible way.
  • Provide written briefings and perform presentations of complex findings, what-if scenarios and risk analysis to various senior stakeholders within the organization
  • Plan, execute and manage unbiased interviews, focus groups and surveys globally.


You have a strong reporting/analytics background and a passion for data as well as demonstrated ability to draw insights from complex analyses and the ability to communicate them in an understandable manner. You have the ability to combine different sources of data/information and research, to be able to see the full picture in order to provide holistic analysis. You’ll be given plenty of responsibility from day one and with excellent self-leadership skills, you demonstrate a “can-do” and “nothing is impossible” attitude. You are a highly motivated, driven and detail-oriented person that at the same time can be creative and think “outside the box”, willing to make a difference and go the extra mile.

We also see that you have:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mathematics/Engineering/Economics/Marketing or another relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience of market intelligence in a global organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is important for this job as your colleagues are spread across the world.
  • Excellent knowledge of data mining in Excel.
  • Knowledge in SQL, Tableau or similar is considered a huge plus.
  • Experience in conducting and analyzing Market Research is a plus, but not a must.
  • Previous experience from positions within product development is a plus, but not a requirement.
