We are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance Team at Daniel Wellington, based in India. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a global team and support daily accounting activities across multiple entities. We are seeking a candidate who is proficient in accounting principles and practices and can handle varied accounting tasks.
THE TASKS YOU WILL OWN
- Perform daily accounting activities including bookkeeping, payments and communication with the organisation
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) processes effectively end-to-end. Including AR, AP and bank reconciliation
- Participation in month end-closing, make sure we have accurate balances and act proactively if any discrepancy
- Ensure compliance with basic accounting policies and procedures
- The role includes working internationally across different entities with global teams
- Utilize Excel and other accounting tools for reporting and reconciliation
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and proactive approach to tasks
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with international exposure
- Experience working with AP and AR, preferably in a consumer business, and working with month-end, year-end, closing procedures amongst other accounting processes
- Experience working with accounting software. We work in Business Central but any other will do
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong and effective communication skills, fluent in English (both verbal and written)
